Enjoy the beauty of this small city, characterized by art, nature and sea, with its small harbour at the foot of the old town. Portovenere, together with the park of Cinque Terre, and the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, have been listed among UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We suggest to visit the three islands that are part of the Portovenere Regional Park. Here, it is possible to visit the literary park named to the poet Eugenio Montale, a native of these lands. Go back south to visit Corniglia, which rises a hundred metres above the sea, on top of a promontory and joined to a beach by a staircase of 365 steps. Its vineyards on the terrace prove the agricultural and engineering skills of the Italians in medieval times.
